I’m a health and wellness advocate based in Maryland, living with my partner of ten years and our beloved fur-baby, Lulu. My mission is to help parents—especially those who are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and fed up with their current lifestyle—find balance, prioritize their health, and make sustainable changes to their daily routines. I believe every parent deserves to have themselves and their health as a top priority.
My passion for health and wellness didn’t start in the typical way. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the effects of giving everything for others—my dad, who has always been my best friend and biggest supporter, was the epitome of selflessness. He built an amazing career from the ground up, all while always being there for my sibling and me, taking care of my grandparents, and ensuring that everyone around him was taken care of. But in all his efforts, one thing was often missing—taking time for himself.
When I was in high school, I faced some of the darkest years of my life—struggling mentally and physically as I dealt with chronic health issues that left me bed-ridden for two years. My body was showing the effects of neglecting my own well-being, fortunately for my dad being by my side, I saw no other alternative than to fight to push through no matter what. My dad, despite his own exhaustion from doing anything he could think of to help his ill daughter find answers, never stopped believing that I could get better and find the answers I needed. He supported me through some of the toughest years, driving me to endless doctor appointments and being my rock as I struggled with my health. His unwavering dedication to me helped me find the strength to begin my journey of healing.
It wasn’t until my third year of battling the illness that I finally found a doctor who listened to me—a functional medicine doctor who diagnosed me with Lyme Disease, IBS, mold exposure, chronic fatigue, and several other co-infections. I dropped out of high school to focus entirely on my health, navigating a complex treatment plan and rebuilding my strength piece by piece.
As I healed, I realized that the selflessness I had learned from my dad—putting others first—was something that had led to my own burnout and health struggles. But I also realized how vital it is to prioritize yourself—something my dad had always struggled to do. I was determined to break the cycle that so many parents, including him, fall into—giving everything to others, yet forgetting that taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity.
Several years later, a wake-up call led me to make health a non-negotiable priority. I began making small but significant changes to my routine—ensuring I got 8+ hours of sleep, using food as medicine, removing toxins from my home, and committing to regular physical movement. These shifts, among others, created the transformation I had been searching for. Ten years after my health crisis, I found the balance I had longed for.
Now, as an Holistic Health Coach, my passion is to help parents who are ready to make their own transformation. I understand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, burnt out, and unsure of how to balance all the responsibilities of family, work, and self-care. I understand the guilt that comes with putting yourself first, but I’ve seen firsthand how doing so strengthens every other area of your life.
